BBQ Chicken Drumsticks with Fries & Buns

Ingredients
:

  • - BBQ sauce: 1/2 cup
  • - Salt & pepper: To taste
  • - Chicken drumsticks: 6-8 pieces
  • - Garlic powder: 1 tsp
  • - Paprika: 1 tsp
  • - Honey: 2 tbsp
  • - Burger buns: 2-3
  • - Chopped parsley: For garnish
  • - Fries: 2 cups

Instructions:

1. Season the Drumsticks:

Start by patting the chicken drumsticks dry with a paper towel. Then, generously season them with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. For best results, allow them to marinate for about 15 minutes.

2. Bake or Grill the Chicken:

   - For baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes. Halfway through, baste the chicken with BBQ sauce to keep them juicy and flavorful.

   - For grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the drumsticks on the grill and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush with BBQ sauce during cooking for extra smoky goodness.

3. Prepare the Fries:

While your drumsticks are cooking, prepare the fries. You can either bake them in the oven until golden and crispy or fry them in hot oil. Once cooked, sprinkle with a little salt to enhance the flavor.

4. Toast the Buns:

For added flavor, lightly toast the burger buns on a skillet or grill for a minute or two until they are warm and slightly crispy.

5. Assemble Your Plate:

Serve the BBQ chicken drumsticks alongside the crispy fries and toasted burger buns. Don’t forget to offer extra BBQ sauce on the side! Finish off the presentation with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a pop of color.
