Fruit Custard

Fruit Custard Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons custard powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (adjust as per taste)
  • 1/2 cup mixed fruits (banana, apple, mango, pear, grapes, pomegranate, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds, cashews)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water or vanilla essence (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Custard Mixture:

In a small bowl, mix custard powder with 1/4 cup of cold milk to form a smooth paste without lumps.

2. Boil the Milk:

Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add sugar and stir until it dissolves.

3. Cook the Custard:

Once the milk starts boiling, lower the heat and gradually add the custard mixture while stirring continuously.

Keep stirring for 2-3 minutes until the custard thickens.

4. Cool and Add Fruits:

Remove from heat and let the custard cool to room temperature.

Refrigerate it for at least 1-2 hours for better flavor.

Before serving, add the chopped fruits and mix well.

5. Garnish and Serve:

Top with chopped nuts and pomegranate seeds.

Serve chilled and enjoy!

This dessert is creamy, flavorful, and perfect for summer or special occasions.
