Ingredients:
- 500g beef, thinly sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 2-3 red chilies, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chili paste or sambal
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, chili paste, and sugar.
Let it marinate for at least 20–30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
2. Cook the Beef:
Heat oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
3. Add Onions and Chilies:
Add sliced red onions and fresh chilies to the pan.
Stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes until the onions are slightly softened but still crisp.
4. Season and Serve:
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
